About Me
Introduction
My name is Shelley, I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2017 and have now expanded my practice to include Advanced Foot Care Nursing.
Some things About Me
My spouse and I are avid outdoors people who enjoy fishing, hiking, camping and boating. We own property and have more hobbies than we can count including bee keeping, gardening and a small flock of chickens to keep us entertained. We love our two dogs and can be hard to find on our days off as we tend to keep very busy out in the fresh mountain air.
Past Nursing Experience
Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to work in multiple different nursing settings such as acute care, long term care, geriatric care roles, and public health. And while I’ve loved all these roles I really wanted to find a health care route that allowed more one on one time with my clients.
Why Foot Care?
While working as a nurse, I have noticed that the feet easily get neglected. I also recognize that this can become painful, irritating and sometimes just simply embarrassing with enough time passing. Combine that with issues I also have faced with my feet I decided this was a route that would allow me additional education for myself as well as support for others.
What Sets Me Apart?
As a nurse, it has really bothered me that I never had enough TIME for my clients. So by starting my own business my promise to you is to take the time to ensure you are completely satisfied with the care you receive from me. I slot my schedule to allow up to an hour per client so that I am never rushed and neither are you!
