SHELLEY DAVIES

Some things about Me
My name is Shelley, and I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2017. Over the years, I’ve worked in acute care, long-term care, geriatric nursing, and public health before expanding my practice into Advanced Foot Care Nursing and creating Sole Relief Advanced Foot Care Nursing Services.
I have a dog named Cooper, who takes his role as unofficial clinic supervisor very seriously. Outside of nursing, we spend most of our time outdoors hiking, kayaking, camping and gardening.
Why Nursing Foot Care?
Throughout my nursing career, I noticed how often foot health was overlooked until it became painful, limiting, or embarrassing for people. I wanted to create a service that focused not only on treatment, but on taking the time to genuinely care for people properly.
What sets Sole Relief apart is simple: time, compassion, and thorough clinical care. My goal is to make sure every client feels comfortable, respected, and confident in the care they receive, whether it’s routine maintenance or more advanced foot concerns.
LORRAINE FELTHAM
LPN, FCN
My name is Lorraine, and I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2015. In 2025, I completed additional training to become an Advanced Foot Care Nurse.
Some Things About Me
I love spending time in nature—walking in the forest, hiking, and camping, especially with my adult children and my one-year-old grandson. During the winter months, I enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. My indoor hobbies include knitting socks, baking, doing puzzles, and playing board games.
Past Nursing Experience
Over the past ten years, my nursing experience has included both acute care and long-term care settings.
Why Nursing Foot Care?
While working in long-term care, I observed how foot concerns can cause significant pain and greatly affect mobility. Watching Advanced Foot Care Nurses provide services in this setting sparked my interest in further education and ultimately led me to pursue a career as an Advanced Foot Care Nurse.
KYAH SCHRAEPEL

Some Things About Me
Hi! My name is Kyah, and I have been a Registered Nurse since 2021. In my spare time I love listening to music and playing guitar or piano, I love being in nature and spending time out in the fresh air. My biggest passion is travelling, I have been to 14 countries so far with many more on my bucket list!
Past Nursing Experience
I began my nursing career in Home and Community Care, providing wound and palliative care to individuals in the Cranbrook and Kimberley communities. About two years ago, I moved into a Transition Liaison role, where I help patients connect with the resources and services they may need following discharge from the hospital.
Why Nursing Foot Care?
I knew I was interested in Advanced Foot Care nursing almost immediately after graduating with my Bachelor of Nursing degree, and I completed my advanced foot care training as soon as I was able. Since then, I have maintained my skills by working periodically with Shelley and by providing care to family and close friends as needed. I believe our feet are the foundation of our mobility and play an essential role in our overall health and quality of life. I'm passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and am excited to continue growing in the field of Advanced Foot Care. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your health and wellness journey.
TERESA BLACKMORE
Administrative Assistant
Hi my name is Teresa, I am currently a Licensed Practical Nursing Student and am excited to be part of the clinic team this summer, assisting with office administration part time (answering your calls and emails) while completing my nursing education. I am passionate about helping others and look forward to becoming a certified foot care nurse once i graduate, where I can provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, woodworking, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
COOPER
OFFICE SUPERVISOR
Meet Cooper: Shelley's 100lb (on a good day) co-owner. He mostly relaxes on his bed or in the sunshine, he's gentle, calm and quick to keep out of the way if needed. He is middle aged and lazy (unless you have treats for him). You will see a bit more energy from him if you are bringing tiny humans with you as those are his primary playmates at home.
That being said, we understand that some people may have allergies, fears, or other concerns about having a dog in the office. If you have any issues or would prefer that Cooper not be in the office during your visit, please don’t hesitate to let any of the team know. We are more than happy to accommodate by either putting him in his second favorite place (the truck) or arranging for him to be in a kennel during your treatment.
